HI, I HAVE HAD MY STILO SINCE 2005, CLOCKED UP 56000 MILES HARDLY HAD ANY BOTHER WITH IT. CHANGE OF OIL & FILTER, TYRES, ALWAYS STARTS FIRST TURN OF KEY, RECENTLY PUT NEW BATTERY IN & THE FIRST SINCE NEW!! BEST CAR I HAVE HAD YET, BUT, GUY IN WORK DEAD AGAINST THEM, I GUESS ITS THE WAY CARS ARE TREATED BY THEIR OWNER OR PREVIOUS OWNERS. I AIM TO KEEP IT TILL I RETIRE 2012. THEN HAVE TO TREAT MYSELF TO NEW CAR ????
hi just wondering if anyone can help my wifes 1.8 stilo sporting 55reg is making a screeking noise when turning wheel in either direction quickly to almost full lock dosent seem to do it when stationary or when steering wheel is turned slowly ,there is no lost of power on steering and i dont think its a belt slipping but not sure anyone any ideas ,also my wifes stilo is not on a recall list on vosa serial no started with 58 i think on her stilo thanks johnny000
I've just bought a stilo abarth. When I got it I noticed it was blowing a bit thought it would be no problem to sort out turns out the flexi pipe at the front has broken I has searched the Internet benn to motorsave and ats I can't get this part anywhere in the end I called the dealer turns out the pipe and gasket is gonna cost me £112 is there anyone who can help me out with this problem.
OK, so 2010 is now well under way and the silver beastie did bloody well in the 'big' weather - there may be more of that, so I won't say it's done yet! - those nice Vredestein Quatrac 3 tyres I bunged on did a grand job and I didn't get stuck in the snow. Having now tempted fate the next time the snow comes I'll doubtless get stuck Anyway, I think I've got a bearing on the way out..... there's a nasty noise coming from somewhere on the car which makes that expensive ...
Ahhh yes, the Stilo. Nice car, fiddly to fix though - well, some of it. It was brought home to me yesterday (whilst stuck at Liverpool airport with time to kill) that, on the whole, I don't really like most of the hire cars I've had of late.
