stilo steering noise

hi just wondering if anyone can help my wifes 1.8 stilo sporting 55reg is making a screeking noise when turning wheel in either direction quickly to almost full lock dosent seem to do it when stationary or when steering wheel is turned slowly ,there is no lost of power on steering and i dont think its a belt slipping but not sure anyone any ideas ,also my wifes stilo is not on a recall list on vosa serial no started with 58 i think on her stilo

    Bett it the belt mate?, Try and ascertain when or if it has ever been changed.
    Even if it ends up not being this, its not expensive.
    check the PS fluid levels.
    And theres never anything wrong with getting on your back, tub of grease and (Ohh err where is this going>>>> ----- ) and lubing up the steering system as best you can.
    I recommend the ZX-1 range of grease its great,
    doesn;t sound too serious though tobe honest
    Try steering under different conditions (I.e Does the noise stop when its wet outside?)
    Does it worsen / better (n) with the City mode switched on,
    We need more info commisar

    sorted by fiat techino wife took car in so not sure what the fault was all i know its ok now thanks to all that replyed
