Big issue with my Fiat Bravo 1,2sx
Hi there,
I'm new to this forum but this was actually the only place where I might get some help. Today my Alarm system stopped working and I went to the service to fix it. They tried to reset the alarm ecu by turning the key 4 times on-off. After that the alarm start working again but the Dashboard stopped working.
The Fuel gauge, temperature gauge, Speed and RPM gauge are not reacting at all as well as the small display in there.
The service told me well it's not our fault so get yourself some help.
Can someone give me a hint what the issue might be as the car is running normal just without any indicators
My Car is
Fiat bravo 80SX 1,2 engine
2000 year
Thanks for any advice!
PS. I went to the fiat garage overhere but they want to sell me a new ECU which I think is not necessary as the car runs normal.

Fuse I bet, I blew mine on my Bravo 1.6SX when fitting my remote central locking somehow.

Re: Big issue with my Fiat Bravo 1,2sx
Do the interior lights work? As they are on the same circuit if i remember correctly (thats how i managed to break mine :P).
If still no joy, take out the instrument panel by undoing the torx screws (or was it allen bolts?) at the top and i think bottom - which can only be seen by taking out the steering wheel housing thingy. Make sure both plugs are connected at the back. If they are, then I guess it might be time to get a new cluster.

I agree with Ecion here ..after doing a little search on this subject the clust does look a little suspect..

I've solve it!!!!
THanks Guys!
First I checked all fuses again, and they were fine, then I found some article that it might be that the ECU went nuts so I conencted it to a pc with obd and voila a sh** load of errors from the ECU, I've performed a error reset and put it back to the car - Everythign start to work again!!
I love fiat :D
