Helpp!!!
Anyone one who owns a cinquecento or knows about them can you help me??? I serviced my car the other month and since that it runs funny cuts out in 4th and is making wining noises. I have been told that it could be the oil filter (it doesnt fit it properly) or could be the acr?? Anyone suggestions??

Not sure what the Acr is. What do you mean by the oil filter doesn't it properly?

They said to me that the oil isnt getting through the engine properly?? The oil filter is restricting the oil!

Well for the sake of a few quid I'd change the oil filter. Was it an OEM on or pattern part? Does the oil light illuminate while the engine is running?

Nah nothing come up, i have already got an oil filter ordered from my nearest car shop?? So hopefully will sort it out??

Possibly although a blocked / faulty oil filter will usually cause low pressure so the light should have come on. Might be a blocked feed somewhere in the system, but fingers crossed it's the filter as that's the cheapest and easiest option.

Yeah hopefully, i mean the oil filter is cheap for my car its only £7 ? cheers for your help!

Bec if you have an incorectly fitted or fitting oil filter you'd loose your engine oil and you have lost it the first time you started it up on changing it, the cutting out i'd strongly suspect is not oil related at all, if it's running like a bag of nails and then cuts out as you get to forth gear sugests it's one of two things as the engine is under increasing load the higher the gear and speed 1 fuel starvation blocked fuel filter if one is fitted, 2 more likely, you have fitted the wrong type of spark plug or have incorectly set the gap on your spark plugs

Im not too sure?? I know for a fact that the spark plugs are correct i also knew someone who also had a cinquecento and they said that it done exactly the same thing and cut out but im not too sure with that?? But i honestly dont know what else it could be??? Stupid cars! It hasnt done it since which is good but i notcied it when i was going up a slight hill??
