they definitely are, last story i heard from a customer of mine, he was charged by a local garage £70 to fit a tuning box (wire-in) and the mechanic/auto-spark only took 20minutes to fit it. daylight robbery if you ask me

Luckily I have a mechanic up the road from me (About 10 min walk) that is spot on. Undercharges me! Going rate these days is £55 for an MOT. He charges me £45-£50 and fixes anything minor in with the price! Golden, I say! GOLDEN! lol!

He did adjust my headlights for free at one point as they were... Ahem... A bit not so legal lol! Champion (What makes it more amazing is I know how much of buggering job it is to tackle the passenger side front light with the damn battery box in the way lol. Especially when mines been welded in lol.

Kudos on the link though, it's going to be a golden ticket for someone!

Funny how the one I use isn't on it... CM Garage in East Kilbride. Great place as I'm sure I've mentioned before - specialise in Alfa's but branching out more and more. Helped me out of a tight spot with my suspension at one point when I was round a mate's and have never looked back at the dealership since...best thing I ever did

Dealerships tend to suck when it comes to service. I only used Fiat once and that was enough to make me think twice about going back!

They seem to be very nice the first time, like getting a feeling of not being ripped - then you get rammed bent over next time! Very strange policy indeed.

Indeed, perfectly fine when you buy the car and perhaps the first service then it's all downhill. The service manager at my local Fiat was the most condescending, patronising git I've met in quite a while. The combination of him and not the most knowledgeable garage team (it seemed) put me off ever using them again.
