    Default Stilo Schumacher

Hi all, it's been a bit since I last posted!

Anyway, I was just wondering if the Stilo Schumacher had similar issues than the Abarth. I know the selespeed box isn't on them so that's one thing out the way, but wasn't sure if there was anything majorly wrong with the 2.4 otherwise?

Thinking ahead here, still have my Bravo and probably will do for a while yet, but it's nice to dream!

nothing really major to report, most of the electrical issues that involved the engine were resolved on the 2003 face lift.

nothing that regular checkups wont keep away, oil needs checking every week without fail, and keep an eye on the water level too. make sure the cam belts are changed at every 36k and if you really want to keep it excellent working order, an oil change around every 6k will help but not absolutely necessary.

Just make sure the oil is always topped up with the right grade. which is fully synthetic 10w60. this is what fiat top it up with at oil changes using selenia racing, but fully synthetic 10w40 is sufficient if the car is not ragged every where, but dont mix the grades, if it was topped up with 10w60 keep it topped up with it.

Nice, thanks for that. Sounds about what I'm used to in the HGT then.

Can't wait to be in a position to by another Stilo, I thought I was sold on diesels when I had my JTD, always said I'd get another or upgrade to a MTJ.

But since owning the Bravo HGT, I'm not sure if I could live without that sound!

I guess only time will tell
