Hi mates,

today from the morning when i started the engine, was no more error about gearbox error, but still I can't change the gears. I checked the transmission oil tank and for me it's looks like ok, here is a photo

I think i must take car to diagnostic and maybe when I will found something..

I would definately take it for a diagnostic, but make sure the garage has a Fiat Examiner, so a fiat/alfa independent or a fiat garage.

The selespeed ecu stores the amount of sucessful/unsucessful changes so they should be able to find the root of your problems, it does sound more gearbox related though based on your info, if it was a electrical issue you would get an gearbox error appear.

The level of fluid there should be fine, but it does look a bit dark. Contaminated fluid can knacker the actuators so I really would recommend a service as soon as you can.

Hi again,

I just got a diagnostic info about my car problem. So the code is: P1743 (something about clutch sensor). So it's seems that gearbox is not dead. Maybe you know how much it can cost to fix that problem with clutch sensor? Thnx

From what I have read here and there the sensor itself may not be actually faulty and apparently they can suffer from poor connection problems just like other stilo sensors do..It will have to be pulled apart and the contacts cleaned with a contact cleaner and then pushed back together..not to sure though were its located so I will have a look on my elearn for you as soon as I get a free moment..:)
