1.9 jtd diesel tank pump ground wiring help
Hello, I had a fault recently where i lost the ground return from my diesel tank fuel pump. (purple+black thick wire)
I've fitted a tempary one - so im running around again, car now working, can someone help me out by advising where the ground connection on the pump runs back to?
Is there a wiring diagram / manual I can download?
2003 1.9 jtd multiwag 115cv
Thanks for the help.
David.

Re: 1.9 jtd diesel tank pump ground wiring help
Thankyou FS-OC.net
My Stilo is all sorted! - with the help of Mike advising me to pay a donation to FS-OC.net and me then downloading the workshop manual, it turns out the pump ground runs through the inertia switch. I found the inertia switch multi plug connection had come loose and disconnected its self. I suspect the plug had never been fitted correctly when the car was built and vibrated off.
Hope this helps anyone else who stops suddenly and gets a 'low oil pressure' message.
...It makes sense really, no fuel to run the engine, engine dies, ecu says low oil pressure because the engine has stopped.
