The earlier Bravo/a engine formed the basis of what is now the 1.6 stilo engine but for the stilo fiat took that engine and altered it in some ways [I have never gone into what ]..the important factor that we need to know is if the heads off the two engines are the same with regards to porting and stud pattern for the manifold to fit the stilo..the 1.6 is what I call the back to front engine in the range where the exhaust manifold is situated at the back of the engine and not at the front like its other brothers in the range..another factor also to take into account is whether or not there is enough space between the engine and the firewall on the stilo if the bravo/a manifold should fit..lots to look at in the first instance with this and first off I would try to get hold of the exhaust manifold gaskets from both engines to see if they match up..if they do you will then know it fits..next thing to look at is routing [how the manifold will run ] at the back of the engine..this I am sure will not be the same and will need altering in this respect..you might be better off actually getting a custom one built when you consider all the iff's and buts of the situation and going that route might actually give you far less hassle in the long run..you will need to incorporate a sports cat in the system because if you dont it will be fail time when the annual MOT comes around..the ball is firmly in your court now ..cost wise on this I would think you could be looking at anywhere up to £1200 for the manifold /cat and exhaust alteration..
