Ermm.... are people forgetting something ?
Did you bleed the system everytime you filled it up ? If not possible airlock.
Fill it up bleed it from cold, then try again :). This could solve all your problems.

There are bleed points on the rads iirc for the stilo's this makes sure the system is air free..

Nope not drain it.
Every time you fill the coolant system up you need to bleed to make sure you get all the airout. If not airlock could cause overheating.

take the engine cover off . and behind it there should be the coolant pipes . on one of them there is like a tape/stopcock kinder thing . it has a slotted screwdriver bit on it but u should be able to turn with your hand . turn the engine on and the water should start dripping out . keep squeesing the pipes to help the circulation. after about 5 mins tighten the tap back up and leave for a little bit if the pipes go hard and there is no bubbles in the header tank you should be good . if not repeat the process :)

Hmm in modern cars there should be 2 bleed points. one for the heater matrix and one above the radiator.
It takes longer than 5 mins to bleed the bubbles. You need to start the whole process from cold.
Open header tank cap, open the heater matrxi bleed nipple fully, when water are flowing freely, shut it. Do the same to the second bleed point.
If you only have one, then do it to just one.
