apparently it can permanently repair cracked head gaskets by adding it to the coolant system. but is it for real ?

it could be used as a temp fix but it will not last and could do your water pump harm and log your cooling system

better off going to a garage then i suppose ? its booked in for next wednesday.

yeah mate new H Gasket un fortunately, i recommend getting the head skimmed

Steal Seal, K Seal, Wunder weld, "can" clog your pump up etc etc, but if you use it properly, it can fix some minor problems.
You need to drain all the coolant AND remove the spark plug from the chamber which has the problem so there is no compression(So first problem is findign which one (or ones) have the problem, THEN, you need to disconnect the fuel injection to that chamber so you dont get unburnt fuel filling up your CAT, which will then explode and destroy the CAT.
And if you haven;t done all this properly, you will ruin the rad, water pump, all hoses, etc,
I know wunderweld says it can even repair cracked blocks, with the aid of steel wool (Hmmmm cross scratcheso nes head)
I thin Rad weld iabout as far as i would ever go with a water problem, and only minor at that,
