    Default Cam Belt Change Time

About to get the cambelt changed on my 1.9jtd. Anyone know where i can get the cambelt cheaper than my local motor parts and how much a garage would charge to fit it? (roughly)
    Thanks
    Mike

Mike mate you prob be looking at the other end of £150 mate if you go to a garage but I'd say tis worth it if you go to a very good garage or just have your own mechanic like me

Cool Re: Cam Belt Change Time

To do this job correctly its not just a belt change..you need to change the belt and tensioner and probably the water pump at the same time..if you dont then you could well be in trouble in the future if the tensioner or water pump fail..they could cause the engine to self distruct if they do fail..water pumps on the JTD are well know as a weak item so really needs to be done at the same time Mike..
