    Unhappy 71719103 - Stilo 2.4L 20V Piston Ring set.

    Hi All,

    I am desperately looking for my Stilo piston rings..

    had sent my babe for a total overhaul but for 6 weeks, no one is able to find me the stock ring set..

    everything is on hand..but the rebuilding is stuck at the piston rings..

    shop4parts managed to sent me 2 sets..but i am still outstanding 3 sets..

    i am willing to look at any OEM parts that can fit my car too.

    If you know where or whom might have EX-STOCK for the above item.

    The 5 cylinder engine is also used in the coupe and the bravo have you thought about comparing the specs from both these engines against the stilo 2.4 the 5 pot has been around since the 90's so either of those might match..its worth a shot nothing lost..

    i dont really understand, why can you not source the rings from fiat?

    Edit: would it not be easier is you gave the diameter of the ring and used one from a different manufacturer?

    From what I have read about parts supplied from fiat for the 2.4 its been very hit and miss..internal parts such as the big end shells have not been available in the past..dont know if the situation has improved with this now..

    hi scottie, i did..they are out on stock..

    i am sourcing from other suppliers, but they have not been forthcoming.
