    Default Breather in head?

Just Having a poke around the engine bay when the engine was running and since I've fitted the induction kit I've notice a small hole thats machined into the rocker cover with a thread in it (as though a screw could be in it) that is almost like a breather. Ive realised that this has caused alot of oil to be sprayed over time onto the back of what was the old OEM filter housing.

So it's go me thinking as to if it should be there (with nothing in and pumping out air and fumes) or not. Since I've fitted the induction kit I've started to get oil fumes into the car occasionally, for this hole I believe, so it's not right surly?

The hole is just above the coil pack for cylinder 4 when looking at the engine from the front of the engine bay.

    Jon.

Just called in my mechanics and he's said it's not right so put a 9mm bolt in it. Now I can degrease the engine and know it will sort of stay that way.
