new fiat owner, cambelt change
hello to everyone
just picked up my daughters first car, a cracking 1.2 stilo. so far i'm dead impressed with it.
never been a fan of fiats, always rusty, dodgy electrics, etc, etc. but this baby has me converted.
now, as i dont know the history i want to do the cambelt swap. ive done a few before on my vauxhalls so not to worried.
but
just going thru the eLearn disc(which is the best cd-based one i've ever used!!!!) ive come accross something i might have missunderstood.
i can see that once in position you insert the cam locking pins, no problem there, but then later i see i have to rotate the engine to get the pistons half down the bore, which sounds a bit strange as i've just put the cam pins in place!!!!
am i reading it correctly or what??? (never been one of my strong points, lol)
cheers
