Centre section for Stilo
Hey lads.
Months back was talking to Red Devil on one of the threads here and he was explaining to me about a full exhaust system lol.
What im wondering now is, i'm looking to get a centre section now to add onto the backox... does this mean if i get the centre section that ill be disrupting the cat? As i dont want to remove the cat.
Basically i havnt a clue. lol.
Oh and any ideas where i could pick one up? A centre section that is...
Cheers,
Simon

Re: Centre section for Stilo
nobody makes the centre section off the shelf anymore, it was suoersprint but they have stopped making stilo stuff now!
anyway, you can o to any exhaust fabrictaor, custom chrome, powerflow etc
and to answer the 1st bit, their are 2 cats on the stilo, the main one in the manifold and a second just after the flexi pipe, this one can be removed, then all they need to do is join the new centre section to the front pipe, job done!
the seocnd cat was their to get it through the emissions laws so they could sell over here, but once here and bought it will pass an mot with it removed no problem! ;D
hope this helps, anymore questions, ask away ;D ;D

Re: Centre section for Stilo
The two cats only applies to the 2.4 tho Red and Brooksey has the 1.4 I think if he did away with his centre box he would improve flow and hence the performance of the system with one foul swoop :)

Woooooooooo ! Cheers lads !
Are powerflow recommended? As they are the only company i know of here in Ireland.
Oh and the centre section.. will this make the car much louder, as in the "ticking over" when parked up with ignition on ??

Found this on a angeltuning.co.uk
Fiat Stilo 1.8i 1800 Centre Pipe with swivel ball joint (alt. 81.47.03) 81.47.13 175.33 149.22
I emailed them enquiring about the 1.4 and asked them would the 1.8 fit? Said id chance it. My backbox was made for the 1.6...
Oh and was on the Powerflow website, couldnt find any direct products for the centre section so will ring them in next few days. It says on there website though that you have to go to them? Nearest oulet for them is in Dublin, 3hrs away from me :(
Any other websites??? ;D

The 1.8 and 1.4 systems are totally different and we dont recomend Angel tuning on this site ;)
