    Default P0530

    Hi Guys.

    Getting this showing up on a diagnostic scan for DTC's
    P0530 - A.C compress. press. high - S.C. to Ground / O.C. Intermittent

    Obviously something to do with the AC.
    Can anyone tell me where the actual fault lies and how best to fix it?
    2004 Stilo 1.6 16v Dynamic

    Hi Andy.

    I'm not to familiar with this, but will try and advise some places to check.

    Firstly, does this only happen when AC is switched on? Does AC function when switched on? And does this bring the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp / Engine light) up on the dash?

    The problem is the linear presure switch and you need to get that sorted..wont be around much guys just down at home collecting some cloths with the wife and then back to my daughters to stay..got no internet access there been told to rest [kids eh ]..all the best to all of you..

    Can anyone suggest where I can get a Linear pressure switch/transducer new or used?

    I've looked through ebay, nothing doin. Even scoured spares website like 247spares and didn't get a single quote back from a scrapper.

    Or give me the part number so I can find it on FIAT ePER?!!?
