    Default Pre heat fault???

    hi everyone, i am new to the site and have been a stilo owner for nearly 12mths. i have the 1.9jtd, 52 plate and i'm looking for a little advice please.
    on starting her up this morning i got a bleeping and 'pre heat fault' message. is this the glow plugs? any advice appreciated please. i've had a bit of a run of minor faults lately, bulbs gone etc which when replaced have all been fine and an odd noise when i go over a bump (which i'll post about in the appropiate section )
    i like to have a crack at these things before i run to my dad!!

    Hi, welcome to CF.

    I'd have said it does sound like glow plugs. Ideally need to get it plugged in and code read off of the car to narrow down the problem.
