Dump valve???

I was on ebay and saw a dump valve, app it works on diesels and petrols, would this work on my 1.9jtd???

i dont think the jtd needs it. you should hear the overboost valve working on mine. the guys at chipped asked what dump valve i had fitted lol.

I have noticed the same thing on mine,,, when you put the clutch in at about 2.5revs to change gear, sounds good but prob not good for the car!!! thinking of getting this dump valve though cause would be a real head turner, wat you think???

they do the same thing. release pressure when you go off boost. so the turbo doesnt stop instantley. i guess the more boost the louder the overboost valve will be.

i think if you did fit one then you would have to remove the ob valve and put it in its place?

mine makes the noise when i lift off the gas, i dont have to dip the clutch. 8) sounds sweet! and the induction noise isnt bad either! :P

Wont be buying one for a while now!!! went to the car earlier and the front drivers spring had snapped, getting fixed at the min, god knows how much it will be and also waiting on my bodykit to arrive then it will be sent off to get fitted and sprayed so my pockets are emptyed!!!

When the time comes that you're thinking about it again Connor just get a GSR induction kit fitted....... you'll never want a blow off/dump valve after that. Trust me ;D
