Mito GTA cancelled and more

...... a shame IMHO. The GTA Mito looked like the rest of the Mito range should. Well, the front looked pretty cool on the proposed GTA which I reckon is the single worst feature on a standard Mito.
Mind you, they're nippy wee things in 1.4TB mode so maybe the GTA would have been just scary - oh yes please

But on top of that, Fiat have made a major boo boo in my view with the facelifted Grande Punto. It's just plain fugly now, why mess with it?
And will we ever see the much rumoured Bravo Abarth? I'm beginning to think not.

Where will the next 'hot' Fiat group road car come from? The new Alfa 147 replacement (Milano)?

Never liked the looks on the Mito and to be honest how good was a car that sat on a G/P platform..

with regards to the G/P in gereral ..been there and worn the T shirt and never never again would I ever consider owning another..pass the sick bag..

I've driven both and the Mito does feel very different to the GP - I think it may be down to the rear suspension tweaks???

Yep the wife had a new one ..total disaster of a car it stayed with us for a whole 4 months before she traded it in for a better car..

i think the mito is a smart looking little car, shame there'll be no gta it would be a weapon

I keep saying to everybody... This is NOT an Alfa Romeo. It looks more like a Corsa or even to a hyper-modified Yaris. No doubt that the suspension and the motor is Italian BUT i'm not keen of the looks.

Unfortunately every new model force us to be more old-era-lovers! Who in the age of 30-35 now don't admire an Alfa 155? Or a Delta Integrale? Or even the GTV6 (Not the last one!)

If i had the money right now to spend it foolishly, i'd love to reconstruct an Alfa GTV6 :)
