FIAT Arbarth 500 judders on acceleration 'sport' mode
Hello,
My Arbarth 500 (2011) when in sport mode judders when you accelerate. it is not all the time but is most of the time. When the car is accelarating it judders, and if you keep you foot down the engine management light will appear and flash 6-8 times. If you take you foot off the accelerator it will stop.
Please help as this is driving me mad and FIAT London are unable to help the computer says there is not a problem.
If you need to ask more questions in relation to the above, i will do my best to help

Sounds like an issue with a coil pack. If the MIL has come on even if it's gone off again the fault should be stored. Have you taken it back to Abarth to check?

I have been to Arbarth in London and they say there is nothing wrong, but i happens everyday. its just when you want to pull aways quickly it gets half way on the turbo and then judders and the lights flashes. :(

Tell them you want to take a technician out on a drive with you to demonstrate it to them. See what they say then.
