What do you think to fiats new supermini The Punto evo built to replace the grande
I actually like it looks a smart little car ,base model at 10 and a half k but with two new engines
the petrol multiair (to help with torque and lower emissions and a multijet 2 diesel
And a start and stop technolegy ???

Could be wrong mate but I think its been launched in addition to the regular grande!

Must say, wasn't keen on it to begin with but it is growing on me now!

The wife bought one in 06 brand new ..we walked to where the car was parked and Doh!! rear doors wouldnt open..nice start that was.. the car from there on in was nothing but trouble so after 4/5 months of ownership she bit the bullet and chopped it in..never again would we entertain a grande punto..not even a free one..OK maybe free so i can give it to martin to get him out of the hole he is in at the moment..

I'm still not sure about the slab of black plastic on the front, but it does look better in those pics than I've seen in previous.

By the way Phil, was it an 8v you had? Just I've never ever heard a good word mentioned about them but other models seem acceptable enough.

Now dont you go dissing the little 8valver..boo hoo..lol ..one of the best engines fiat actually built..its the build quality of the car and thats the problem..so put it bluntly its a piece of poop..

Have to say though, the 8v 1.2 struggled with my old mk2 so often wondered how it would've coped with the GP. Think it's a mixed bag really with the GP though as it is with most cars - sometimes you get a good one, sometimes you get a total lemon.

i was thinking of posting this a while back when i seen the advert on TV.
would people not be disappointed when they ask what you drive and you reply "I Drive An EVO!!" then you take them to the carpark to show them and its a bloody punto? lol

Not too keen on any of the changes that piece of kak plastic front and back and then the name like Scottie said what a dissapointment
