my wife's GP has been bullet proof, but sadly now the weather has turned chilly, the heater fan has stopped working! It has been making an odd noise for a wee bit, but now nothing!!
any ideas on what could be wrong?
Cheers!

it wouldn't be a fuse if it has been making funny noises mate
could be the fan motor
i would just check the fuses to be sure.
maybe the fan burnt out due to a clogged pollen filter? or would that matter?
Grande fans fill up with leaves so check it out..motor is under glove box..
Also possible problems are loose wire to the motor and resistor to control fan speeds try putting it on No 4 to see if it works cos no4 bypasses the resistor pack on the motor..also check for burnt or melted wires at resistor pack [orange wire]and bad connections at multi plug..I understand that the resistor is passenger side on heater..find that orange wire and youve found the resistor..
Here you go a search on ebay find this..

Wit, sarcasm, you get it all from me..
cheers, when you say the motor is under the glovebox, do you mean the glovebox can be taken out to gain access to the motor??
Not to sure if you have to take out the glove box from what I have read some years ago [2006] when we had ours you get up under the glove box in the passengers side foot well and you should find a terminal block..passengers tend to accidently kick it from what I remember and cause the problem[crap design] good old fiat..
Main problem iirc is that wires melt and fuse together ..was fixable under warranty as well but thats no help to you..
