does it blow anything at all? i mean can you at least hear them blow? if they dont then it will be a fuse probably. if the fan is working, but not getting anything out it will be your filter located inside of the car you can access it thru the drivers side near the pedals... i've had same thing bothering me for ages, cant find the thread, but you'll have to remove the side panel, next pic
and find a little cover on the end of it (black wide cover, will look like a part of a panel, has two holes in it) that will just push forward if i'm right, then the pollen filter will just pull out giving you loads of air going thru the vents, get a new one or clean the existing one for the time being at least.
here's the best i could find in fast pace

If the fan does not blow on any setting other that No4 then its likely to be a resistor gone at the side of the heater..

Wit, sarcasm, you get it all from me..
No on any number 1,2,3 or 4 nothing happens I will check the fuse in the morning, will it be the fuse box inside the car?
yeah, have a look in the manual witch one, fingers crossed it would be the fuse![]()
As already said check fuse then pollen filter then as PNL said resistor.........You'll most likely find that it will eaither of the 1st 2 or combo of both.
When you do change the pollen filter make sure you remember front and back as that will important on how the new one sits

Hi,
The heater in my car has stopped working, was fine on the way to work yesterday, but when I got in it to go home, nothing. It wont blow hot or cold air, it is just completely silent. I originally thought a fuse had gone so got out the manual - which does not mention a fuse for the heating system at all. I then googled heater fuses for about an hour, discovered that maybe it was fuse 2 in the engine bay? So I phoned my dealership who informed me that actually THERE IS NO FUSE for the heating system, there is a common fault that the wire burns out and I will need to take it to them to be fixed.
Can anyone confirm this? I dont really want to be ripped off and I am confused that other people are discussing replacing the fuse?
If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be very grateful!
Thanks,
(a very cold) Jessica
Sorry, meant to say I have a 57 plate 1.2 grande punto!
Thanks
sorry to hear about your probs, dont even have a clue on the punto, but i would imagine that there should be a fuse for the heating, might be that it's shared for a few or more items, what about other stuff on the dashboard? does it all work ok? as say stilo's share a fuse for the interior lights and radio etc. so might be same thing for the punto's...
