Hello all

Started the car this morning to come to work
Got the engine warning light come on
And the car is shuddering as if it not firing on all cylinders

car got me to work (15 mile journey) dosent cut out just sounds and runs terrible

any ideas ?

might be one of the coil packs as i would presume, it happened to me few years back, just about 2 months after i bought the car... two of them were replaced
the third one went down just after the warranty on the car has ran out
threy're about £30 to change if i remember right

Steve, where about in Liverpool are you mate?, I would happily plug my kit into it to see if it shows the codes etc,

was the coil pack got the AA man out he didnt have one on the van
so rang round to locate one and gave me a lift to go get it 25 mile round trip :-)

all sorted now

the shop only had one in stock or would of bought a spare to keep in the boot
