Various warning light reset processes
if there is no problem with the engine and you need to reset the engine managment system then follow these steps, they do work i have done it,
1. turn the key to the on position(so the ignition lights come on but dont start the car)
2. take out the bigest fuses under the bonnet(not relays)
3. wait roughly 5 mins
4. turn the ignition off
5. replace fuses
6. start the car
this in turn should reset the light thats if it doesnt go off for you, but i wouldnt recommend doing it if it suddenly comes on though always get it checked out by a garage.
hope this can help somebody

Re: How to reset Engine Management light
Thanks matey
there are others too
disconnect the battery for 5-30 mins, this resets the whole electrical system
and
if your eml is lit, the fiat reset for this, is turn on,let idle for a few mins, and then rev to the limiter 3 times and then turn off, leave a few mins, turn on and they should be gone. if the above doesnt work
also if you disconnect the battery with the wheels at an angle this will is most cases set the asr and abs sensors off once reconnected, to remove this, move the steering wheel, full lock to the right, then full lock to the left, then centre.
