Location of the pollen filter is with in the heater unit and to get it first push you drivers side seat back as far as it will go..
Now get yourself down there and look at the side of the centre console and you will find a side panel held in place with two round push in fixing studs with an Allen head in the middle of them.. grab hold of the cover and carefully give it a pull towards you and you should find it will come away from the centre console..
this is a view of what you are now looking at..
Now the filter cover itself is held in place with two spring clips and one screw which is underneath the clips..these need to be removed..filter cover then pushes of in a forward direction towards the front of the car..
The filter itself is quite bulky item to get out and you will need to rotate it slightly to get it out and past the steering column..and once its out try and have a little clean up inside where the filter was located and remove any debris you can.. I advocate renewing the pollen filter and not cleaning it after all you wouldn't fit a second hand and dirty air filter would you..
fitting the new filter is simply a reversal of removing it boxing it back up with the filter cover clips and screw and the side cover of the centre console..bish bash bosh jobs a good one and your done..
happy motoring stilo members..
PNL..:)
