Simple To do this one and this is where you need to get to ..to adjust the cable..



Yes its under the ashtray between the two front seats..you can just remove the panel as per picture or if you want more access then you can do so by undoing six screws and the whole unit pulls off..the handbrake system is supposed to be self adjusting..but the main problem here is when people do a rear pad change they neglect to slacken off the handbrake cable adjustment before proceeding and that puts the whole thing way out of adjustment..you need a 10mm spanner the tighten or slacken the adjustment and about 3/4 clicks of the handbrake is just the ticket when adjusting up to the final setting..
