5 Disc CD changer in Schumacher - How do i use it!?

First of all ive been really stupid and only just found the CD changer in the secret compartment above the glove box (after 10 months of owning the car!!)

Secondly im still being stupid as i cant work out how to use it!

Im leaving no CDs in the main head unit, pressing the SRC button so it asks for a code, i put the code in on the display but am then assuming i need to press something to "enter" the code but cant figure out what to do, i dont appear to have a manual for it either.

Any advice?

im lookin on e-learn and eper for code activation etc, never had a changer in my schui, im utterly jealous

Yeah thats the CD changer, same head unit but is CD rather than cassette but looks identical other wise.

Think i will browse the web too tonight, just being a bit lazy asking on here first!

dont know whether this will help but there are 2 menus on the head unit, press once for main menu, and press and hold for second menu with options for turning on and off with ignition etc, maybe something in there.

the schui didnt come with a changer as standard as the head unit is mp3, so unless you got it new with it in, id say someone put it in. there wasnt a very big options list for the schui as they were ready made at fiat and NOT built to order

There should be a codecard for the CDC somewhere in your paperwork.
You are supposed to enter the code on this card.
I think you are supposed to press the #1 button x times for the first digit of the code. Then the#2 button x times for the second digit.

Useful stuff guys - I have just got my mitts on a 1 year old CD changer and glovebox liner (and cable) to fit into my Stilo and I can see that fitting it might be a tedious affair
