What to do for ICE?
Hey guys. Since getting my stilo, I've been missing my own music collection. In my previous cars, I used to always install a 3rd party headunit with SD card to get me on my way. But I've been putting it off with the stilo as I love the steering wheel controls... I understand if I replace the headunit, the controls will no longer work.
To try and get around this, I tried using one of those FM transmitters with an ipod, but they're usless.. The next best thing I can see, is one of those loudlink SD Card to CD Changer adapter things. But they seem to be going for about £150!!
If I was gonna spend that much, I may as well go the whole hog and get something like this: 1026E EONON IN DASH 7" LCD TV CAR GPS NAVI DVD PLAYER on eBay (end time 26-Sep-09 22:45:15 BST) - does any one know if the GPS would be a 'trial' or valid for only a year or something? It looks a nice bit of kit. But then again, I'd have no steering wheel controls.
decisions, decisions.
Only 9.80KB for a sig? WTF.

Re: What to do for ICE?
Hi mate can you not get an Autoleads adaptor for your controls?
Also for about £230 i know of a 7" DVD in car unit with bluetooth, Tomtom (Full version) ipod conect etc etc. I'm thinkning about one if i decide to keep the old multiwagon beast. I'll post the link to the unit later for you.

Re: What to do for ICE?
As far as I know ecion there are only two manufacturers that support steering controls with the Stilo, Clarion and Kenwood.
There are other companies that do canbus adapters for the Stilo, but this is just to extract a speed pulse, night illumination and parking brake signals - mainly for taxi units.
Kenwood do some very very nice double din headunits without navigation that integrate with ipod, usb, sdcards etc, think they are around £4-500
