In holland, the CN+ comes with a standard safetysetting that doesn't allow you to enter a new adress while the Stilo is moving.
I know it's unsafe to do this while driving, but letting my better half do this while I drive is very desirable.
Since updating (flashing) is not without potential problems, I've been waiting a really long time to do it.
Downloaded version 11.0 and the setupCD and burned them with my Laptop.
Then the nightmare started. Proces ran all the way to 100%, but no startup and no eject. After I think 5 attempts I decided to open up the CDplayer.
After several attempts and completely taking the radio apart the CD was still in the player.
Tempted to throw the CN+ from a tall building, I read on a german forum that holding the CD while the player is trying to read for 3 times will cause it to eject.
...That worked.
So I burned a new copy on my PC and although my screen stayed black, it restarted and ejected the CD and I had radio again. Back to taking the unit apart for the umpthied time it was. No go... everything seemed to be Ok. Burned a 9.8 copy and flashed it again. Screen very dark
So apart for the last time.
I found the flatcable not 100% connected. Reconnected.......Victory!
Flashed to 11.0 again, SetupCD inserted, back to Dutch and the safetyfeature NOT activated I'm finally a happy camper

May be usefull to someone with similar probs.
