    Hav'nt used it in a while but i prity sure i put it in as "an address" cos their is no seperate menu box but i will try it out again just to be sure that is where i entered it am still using an 08 and 9.8 firmware

    I write this dan with a very red face and feel i need to bow to your supirior knolledge,i put in the a address and then put post code into PLACE NAME so with face beaming red face i now know that it was not following a postcode input but the actuall address what a tit am i

    Aww, I thought you may be to something and be able to do postcodes.. Ive barely used the satnav functions, mainly for collecting ebay purchases and it worked well. Only gripe is the bird thats talking tends to get distances upto junctions a bit, er wrong at times :-)

    Lolll my bird does the same ,but was told it was due to tyre change and am told you are supposed to put in satnav disc and run it with car without any address input and it will then configure itself to the car ,never tried it tho
