i have a little garmin nuvi 200w i bought it 2 years ago for £80 iirc.
its got all the fixed speed camera locations and some zones known to have mobile cameras built in. great little bit of kit.
I have used a Garmin 205 and its very good but the road angel I have has a setting for estimated time of arrival . i`m looking to get a garmin with that option as its very useful if your running late . i wondered if any of the other suppliers make one with this option.
my Garmin nuvi 200w has that its usually very accurate in your ETA's. and it give you max speed average speed etc etc. my max is 148mph iirc
is it still available?
I have a MyGuide 4228 4.3" I bought from Asds for £30 when they were selling off their satnavs. It came with Turbodog software, but runs on Windows CE which means you can install pretty much anything you want, including apps and games. I'm running tomtom, iGo8, and iGo Amigo on it ATM - they all fit easily on a 2GB SD card. It also plays avi video and mp3s.
If you want to do this sort of thing, about the best buys are the F&H range from ebuyer.com, which seem to be OOS ATM - they were £39.95 for the 3.5", and about £54 for the widescreen 4.3". I expect they'll be back in stock after Christmas.
For more info and how to install and download software try http://www.simplesatnav.com/ - you do have to register, but it's quite safe.
check out your local Halfrauds for a demo on some satnavs and ask them to go through the features. then when you've picked the right one. tell them you'll come back to them after you've had a think. go home and order it online, lol
here is a new version of mine mate http://www.google.co.uk/products/cat...535&sa=title#p
