the subs have to be sealed, (they dont have to be but you get much punchier bass if you do)
the 6x9s should be mounted seperately from the subwoofer boxes
as 6x9s work as well in free air environments as they do in enclosures

not 100% sure on the strenght of them, but i think i'd rather do a ported or vented box, as you wont **** up the subs so fast(or the boxes, as i did) and 6x9's are most definite into the parcel shelf, they dont need to kick the bass, as the subs will do it for you they're only for the mid/high range of sounds, imho putting them into a sub box is a big no no
and you do have a mess, massive mess in the wiring section mate hope you'll get it sorted out good with scottie
and the other thing is was thinking of is why do you need 3 subs???? it will look good, packed boot i do get that, but other than that get somekind good sub with good output and you're going to bleed from your ears, one would do if it's for the sound mate

haha yea hopefully i'll get her sorted :P i made a right mess of the wiring but oddly it all worked there :P.. thats why i'm thinkin it's only an amp.. ayeee 6x9s in the box seemed a good idea at the start but now i don't like it lol.. thats why they're goin up into the parcel shelf.. my subs at the minute are loud as fu*k when i've the whole thing going right (2x10" 900W Kicker Solo L5). just needa get it back workin lol.. gonna take out the switch to turn the boot build on and off and replace it with a bass control gauge as i think this will work much better :P.. whats your opinioins on that.

Anyone know where to get goood, but cheap sub boxs?

bass control gauge for me is a total nonsense, as i've got it, but dont use it at all... i can turn the sub off on the stereo quite easy, just by a touch in the eq menu and obviously control it aswel. the other thing is with two subs, obviously you're running them from one amp, pioneer if i'm right, but what's the output on that? for instance i've got 3000w max / 1000w rms sub, same with the amp, atm it's on about half, i remember when i just got it i've set it for a test and put a pound coin on rooftop and it did jump like fu***ing mad so as i was saying(not sure for the amps output) isnt it too weak to run 2x900w subs? that would need 1800w amp with two channels... that's why it's better to go for one sub and monoblock amp(still has two channels in case you want to add something new, but output drops down by half then)...
and how that amp mocked up? had a look thru the fuses?

yeno mate that could be where i'm going wrong, ive been running the 4 standard speakers through one amp and the 2 subs and 2 6x9s through one ffs if it'll get more bass i'll just attach the standard speakers to head unit have 6x9s throu 1 amp and subs through the other.

The amps i have are DXR 1000W 4 channel. thats about all ino about them lol, when i started this build i didnt have a clue about anything just knew i wanted kickin bass, and square subs lol

heheh, well indeed you went mate, your stereo will do the job to the standard speakers max, as they're only about 50w power, you should run one amp to 6x9's and the other should go bridge, to make it two channel into the subs, then you're probably gonna get more/less max out of the 6x9's and the subs, as the subs will be run on 2x500w channels and the 6x9's just 2x250w channels(and you've got two channels free) but as said before massive bass will only come out from subs, you dont need anything extra on the original speakers, as they will do that bassy sound just by having a sub in the boot
ohh, and you might have just burned one amp if you were runnin 2xsubs and 2x6x9's on it, too much for that fella to handle well just check the fuses it might still be alive

first of all we need to talk about the RMS output of the subs and amps, the figures we are quoting here are MAX Wattage.
for a good setup you need an amp with a higher rating that the subwoofers to stand any chance of lasting.
personally andy i would run a class D Monoblock amp to run the subs. you can run too subs off a 1 chanel amp at say 4ohms.
we would need to see the actual specs of your setup.
i should have a set of JBL 6.5inch Co-Axles here that would do your quarter cards
    they'll take a right pasting.
we also need to look at your wiring and see what guage of cable your running to see if its enough.
trust me mate you'll want to turn your system off so keep it on a switch. mine done my head in
i had 2x15inch warfdale subs in the back of my mk1 williams clio replica. made my ears bleed a couple of times......... painful
