    Default boot subwoofer install

ok ive got 2x 15" subwoofers, they are quite good models

    spl beast thing
    focus audio beast thing

and the yare loud, just ive only used them single setup atm
and still makes the car vibrate on the outside, which was nice

but now i wat to make a box/install with both the subs in

im thinking mdf and fiberglass combined

mdf for the bottom, side and back pieces, and a fiberglass type moulding for the front seeable piece where the subwoofers will hold etc

has anyone made a stilo boot install and has pictures

thanks all and ill keep you updated on the situation

I've always found the standard sub-woofer a nice touch as it's not too imposing and it gives quality sound, but that's just my opinion. I did see a subwoofer box advertised on the fiatforum classifieds section...

(By the way... Be careful to type in fiatforum and not fistforum like I stupidly did... You'll only end up with a forum dedicated to fisting...)

http://www.fiatforum.com/classifieds/showcat.php?cat=15 - It's been made for a MK1 Punto but can be adapted... I think? Plus it's quite expensive so probabily thinking you want a cheap alternative. Although if you want a design idea, then there you go lol!

Also if you go back to the main classifieds section and go on "Model Specific" you can get bits and pieces for the Stilo on there (Just a thought if you are after other bits and pieces)

have you tried looking around the audio shops in the area? as they should have some suitable boxes for sale... and it's not as easy to build a good box yourself, you need to get proper measurements for it so the sound wouldnt be suppresed too much etc., well i'm on my third box with pioneer spl sub as i had two of them, but just broke because of the vibration, side of the box just got away on the first one and the second one was in pieces when i got my third one, just too the sub out and the box went flat after touching it
