Hardwired mobile phone kit.
I'm after a hard wired mobile car kit (for my N73) and it needs to be one that uses an external mic, and that wires into the HU and uses the car speakers. Can anyone recomend a good site to look at for these, because I've hit a damn wall with it. All I can find are the Nokia ones that will work with my phone, but use an external speaker hidden out of view, which I don't want.
Any suggestions?
Also, can anyone suggest a good place to buy a bluetooth GPS adaptor? I'm thinking of dispensing with the hideous old ICN320 I've got in favour of Tomtom on my phone.
Can you tell I've just bought a new mobile? :P

right mate what you may need as its probably immpossible to find a kit that does all thet you want
is one of these as well as the standard nokia car kit, this replaces the hidden speakers and uses you stereo, it mutes the stereo on an imcoming call then puts the callers voice through the front speakers ;D
hope this helps ;D

I know there's definately one that exists, my dad has exactly the same thing. Sadly, with his astra (yuck) being a company car the system was installed by someone his company sorted out, so he doesn't know who it was, D'OH!

Re: Hardwired mobile phone kit.
me personally would prefer this, works with the stereo and is bluetooth so no nasty wires every where, and can recognise up to 8 hpones and automatically recognises which fone when the egnition is started!!

its the Nokia CK-1W / CK1W

Re: Hardwired mobile phone kit.
Halfords,
Parrot CK3000 £99.99 fitted
Parrot MK6000 £149.99 fitted (bluetooth stereo streaming music off your N73 ;))
i work with these units, and for the money, theyre pretty good. yes there are fancier ones out there (the sony ericsson and nokia and motorola ones are quite cool). but then you have to find a place to fit them, then pay..........zzzzzzzzz
and yes, i work for halfords, the underpaying tight gits
as for the buletooth gps, theres a tiny shinny black holux unit on ebay, cant remember how much (just search for holux and you'll find the one i mean). very good and cool

Re: Hardwired mobile phone kit.
Couldn't you just get hold of the leasing company (presumably?) who supplied your old mans car explain the situation and ask them for a favour..... tell you who fitted the kit ???
