just a few weeks back started noticing a weird thing witch looks like the battery drain, but had the battery charged overnight and still happens... i dont even know how to describe it, but here goes:
basicly i've got a weirdest noise coming out from the speakers when the car is off, but the ignition is on to give power to stereo, it sounds like a short buzz, happens from time to time and it does do that when i roll the window down or do something that is ran by electricity...
when the car is running, doesnt happen at all, unless the car would be about to die on low revs.
i know that i've got a fault in my HU, the laser is not reading discs properly all mp3/dvd/movie discs will work, but it wont be so good with the sat nav disc(dual layer one), i'm just wondering wheter it can be related to that?
my current setup is 3kw bass with 350w 6x9's powered by 3kw amp and 900w one for the 6x9's with a small 1.2fA power cap, worked fine and never had a thing like that before this for about half year or so, any ideas what it might be would be appreciated

Have you check battery charge when engine is off. Sounds like it could be low voltage?

Batt might also need a top up with de-ironised water

well i've bought a battery charger from hellfrauds and it did no good i think, it charged it for an hour maybe two and then "charged" bulb turned on... i cant open the battery cause it's a bosh silverline, can remember the number, it has a labyrinth for the water to circle around it witch apparently makes it servicing free, doh. somehow i think it will be the bloody laser on the HU, as i've had the same setup for the stereo for ages and nothing was happening... dont even know where to turn i'll try to ring norholt car audio repairs on monday to see wheter it is what i'm thinking about...

well spoke to the guys at norholt audio and they told me it might be bad ground... >.<
