never had one, so dont have a clue, your best option would be to get in touch with danhans115 as he's the man to ask probably, there's a guide how to take it apart, but nothing how to connect it... http://www.clubfiat.net/guides/1781-...issection.html there's a guide on the FF Connect Nav+ Installation - The FIAT Forum good luck

Well i ve got the connect nav+ unit last night when i first pluged it in it was in italian, software version 8.5 updated to 9.8 and then had the unit in english but the nav commands is in italian even with the setup disc i couldnt change the language.
Today i had another go and connected the extra switched power to pin 4 (which for now i just linked to the red power cable) on the iso connect which let me change the language with the setup disc, also i have full control of the the on board computer and steering controls :-)
As i had the flashing mileage i fitted a switch to the switched power so i can turn the unit on after the car has run through the system check this way i have no flashing mileage.
I will get the time delay switch later and remove the switch
But this took 30mins and so far its fully working :-)
All i need now is a gps antenna before spending the £140 on the fiat one i think i'll try a gt5 antenna off ebay like this one GPS ANTENNA 5 METRE CABLE GT5 CONNECTOR - UK SELLER!!! on eBay (end time 20-Jan-11 15

Dont think im going to bother wiring the phone system up.

Sounds good. Might be worth doing the phone system though as it's there, keep you legal etc. Lol.
