Another question :-p, I don't have any kind of pin or code with the unit, I read somewhere that there was a way to bypass the cars computer by plugging in the a can line then the b can line or the other way around. What stat does the electrics have to be in and what exactly do I have to do lol.*
Thanks again :-)

Installed the unit earlier on, with the bare minimum (i.e. the cage, antenna, speakers and iso). I had the microsphone supplied with the unit and plugged that into the roof where it should go and also connected it to a 2 wired connection that was already there, now time to ask for a little help :-p.
Where is wiring loom for connecting the Connect Nav to the ECU, is it somewhere behind the dash or does it need to be ordered? Its just the wiring for the alarm sensors and the wiring for the microphone are alreasy there just wondering where it ens? :-).
Also how do you bring the gps antenna up onto the dash?
Alllsoo :-), read somewhere that you could connect an ipod to the aux or something, how is this done, anyone have any links? :-).
Thanks!

Canbus connection wiring should be with the rest of the ISO connectors I believe.

The precious unit was the standard radio, all that was connected to that was an antenna, the power lead and the speaker lead. No other connector was visible. Any idea where the one with the canbus is hidden? Not too sure on whether im going to have the phone fully operational just yet, all I was from that load of wires is the microphone in (for voice commands and memo recording).
Thanks again :-)

When you say it was standard, was it the origional OEM Stilo one?

Yep, the double din(ish) cd player with the wide orange screen and the big volume/power button in the middle.

Did it display Track number and radio station on dash when it was fitted?

I was unable to find the canbus line, so im assuming the car computer doesn't know its there yet. No settings can be changed (i.e time/date) and no car information is displayed. As i dont have a CD changer or steering wheel buttons im assuming 'connector A' isnt really required.
EDIT: mis-understood previous post :-p, yes it did, you could set the volume to increase as you accelerated etc.
EDIT 2: Just loooked at a wiring diagram for the oem radio, shows that pins 1-3 are n/a, on the connect nav it shows 1-3 as being canbus a and b, I thinks I get where your coming from MEP with 'is the track number being displayed' (theres had to have been a way for the previous unit to communicate with the dash). The search for the canbus lines continue :-p.
Thanks :-)

Hi
Did you get this working ?
if you didnt You need to put a switched power to pin 4 on ur iso plug. if you do it with a manual switch you can turn it on after the car has run its 30 second check and then u wont have flashing mileage...
