    hi looking at the source code here from my website www.ecochiptuning.co.uk that Mike the has kindly helped me out with

    this is the source code from the bottom of the page

    <!--site map link--><TABLE width="782" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" align="center" style="border-right:1px solid #000000; border-left:1px solid #000000;" background="img/base/bg_table.gif">  <TR>     <TD width="5"><spacer type="block"  width="5">&nbsp;</TD>   <TD align="right"><FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2" color="#FFFFFF"><a href="site_map.html">Site Map</a></FONT></TD>    <TD width="5"><SPACER type="block"  width="5">&nbsp;</TD>  </TR></TABLE><!--site map link--></TR>

    Code:
    <TD valign=top  background="img/base/ba104.gif"  width=577 height=26>
    This bit here is table data <TD, the data that is going to be in one of the cells of your table.

    valign = vertical align - aligns the text to the top of the table cell

    background = link to a background image for the table cell

    width/height = size in pixels of the table cell.

    you then type in your text and close the statement with </TD>

    I could never be arsed learning table stuff I just made them in DW, much much easier especially when it comes to spanning.

    Give that wizard a punch the code is a bit of a mess at the moment... it will make much more sense to you when you and mike have cleaned it up a bit.

    Comment your code as well - makes it much easier, you can easily remove comments before posting the site up
