    Blue simply means compressed

Disk cleanup and compress old files. If you have recently run that then there you go. Check your my docs and other folders new ones won't be like that only the stuff you've had for a while. Note you can de-compress if it bothers you that much

Cant tell you why its happened unless someone else has been changing settings or something.. Heres how to fix it though..

Go into My Computer, click Tools then Folder Options.. You need to chnage back to double click, that should be it.

    Best of luck

If I tell you this you'll be my b***h for life

    Anyhow here goes

    1. Open my computer
    2. Right click on your C drive and click Properties
    3. You should now see the general tab just uncheck the compress files option
    4. Click apply and ok

You can also do it per folder basis

    1. Right click on one of your desktop icons or any folder and click properties
    2. Next to attributes click Advanced
    3. Uncheck the compress files to save disk space option and click ok
    4. Click apply and ok on the general tab and voila done.

p.s. I charge £90/hr just messing hope this helps.
