We just got nathan a car with a 1.5 engine and he is in the same boat..lucky for him I taxed it for 12 months and not 6 months now..plus the fact that since he has had it I have been going through it and sorting out all that needed doing..

    oil & filter change
    coolant change
    air filter
    plugs
    discs/pads
last week cambelt /tensioner.water pump/aux belts..and on and on..now this..they are taking the proverbial wee wee.when the banks have screwed the tax payer out of billions and industry pollutes the atmosphere..time for the people to get out on election day and wipe labour off the map as a party..and send a message to the others

Figures... If we don't get ripped off this way then it'll only be via another scheme that sees people paying extra to be "enviromentally friendly"... YAY for the dumbasses that get elected lol!

Oh that's a very sarcastic yay for anyone that didn't realise lol.

Sucks to be registering the new Trans Am in this country... £900+... WTF?!

So, the whole get out clause of a car being registered before March 2006 (may be slightly wrong with the date) has passed then. I remember certain Schui Stilo's that were early registered were cheaper to tax than the later models. Sucks if that's to change, though many of the cars I was looking at are pre-March 2001 (S2K's included), so my choice is still pretty varied.

Thankful I have the 1.2 though, £125 a year though given what my service may well be like I think I'll opt for a 6 month one. Gas/electric bill, road tax and car service all hitting at once means I'll be struggling this month and next

The Bastards are screwing people with alternative fueled cars like me over to. Used to have a £20 tax relief. Now only going to be £10

Normal 1.4 Stilo was £150 a year, now £155, 1.4 LPG stilo like mine was £130 a year, now going to be £145.

    Not impressed, but hey ho
