Re: bigbluezulu has joined! ok guys i am in major need of some help, i have just done one of them text checker things and my car came back as a cat b.....arrrrggggghhhhhhhhhhhh.....checked up on dvla and vosa and it seems my car has a vic marker on it, how serious is this??? my car looks imaculate to me and i would never of guessed it had had a whack. where do i go from here??

Re: bigbluezulu has joined! Category C is mechanical and D is bodywork and I'm guessing B is a write off but parts can be sold...? (Judging by A is being a total write-off (Non-Salvagable)... Not heard B for a while and have gone totally blank as of now... Sorry lol!
They are really good cars if you get a reliable one mate, I have the same car but with, what appears to be, the sporting package on (Plus extras I added). One thing I will say with them is that the variator is prone to go (If it sounds like a diesel on start-up for a few seconds), change the cambelt every 32k (Not 72k like Fiat suggest), keep the battery terminals in good nic as they cause a hell of alot of problems if they aren't in good condition (Mine was a perfect example) and also you'll find some Fiat dealerships to be more than useless in some aspects lol! (If you find a decent one, tell me lol).
Congratulations on the purchase though and look forward to seeing some pics!

Re: bigbluezulu has joined! i'm gutted mate my car is fantastic alloys leather interior the lot, very tidy i need to do a vic, surely if it has a inspection and passes it can be put back on the road or whats the point of the inspection??? am i wrong in thinking this?
