I missed X-Factor for 3 reasons - 1) It's the X-Factor, 2) they've done away with the funny auditions and it's now like Britain's Got Talent mk2 and 3) I didn't want to traumatise my ears with Jedward's screechings.

However, I still managed to encounter them while innocently watching Celeb Big Brother. Even when they're not singing, they're 2 of the most obnoxious little so and so's I've ever seen on TV and the most un-twin like twins I've ever seen. They never have that sort of weird twin sixth sense thing going on where they can coordinate their efforts in dancing, finishing each others sentences, "singing" in the same key, etc, etc. Overall, I think Jedward are definite sign that the world of crap music is alive and well. Now then, I wonder if Pete Waterman's got a hand in their success...
