Why not just tax us for breathing and get it done and dusted..

You are getting closer to Nordic rates I see. It's propably to get the £ to worth a little more. We have had 25% since 2005. 20% was presented in 1970. :)

I work and earn money. I'm taxed on that, then put fuel in my car, fuel duty is added to that, and then VAT on top. 3 lots of taxes involved in filling car. Not impressed.

it's getting beyond a joke now, the government needs to buck up their act and think of the normal working man.

ffs, this is ridiculous... well no one will start to raise our wages, let them invent somekind tax on that, so we would get more money...

I can afford it no problem, I'll just raid that big pile of cash I have...no...wait, that's wrong...income tax, national insurance, car tax, fuel duty, council tax and the rest have turned that pile of cash into a few penny jars. Oh well, that's me buggered then
