    Default Stilo front tyre wear

Just as the title says folks - front tyre wear ::)
Interested to see how others are getting on with their Stilos 'lunching' tyres like mine seems determined to do :o

Replies with you model/engine type and noticeable wear particularly interesting ;)
I'm actively considering the camber bolts now :-\

Solutions in replies good too - just don't suggest 'slow down' ;D

    2002 JTD 3 door
    17's
    lowered 30 mm
I did have the usual wear issues before and after lowering until i got a GOOD 4 wheel alignment done on brand new tyres.
Also increaed pressures to 2.7 bar which has slowed it done, i also now rotate front to back to extend tyre life further.

I don't think Fiat have done "a fix" on my car.

What would most people consider acceptable tyre life in miles?

I only got around 7K miles on a front set on my 5dr but I did tend to welly it some what ..I read some where that fiat did an adjustment to the lower arms and bushes and that was supposed to help the inner ware to some degree

i noticed it on the front but only after lowering 50mm on the front. and my car is in desparate need of aligning. 2005 3dr 115 jtd.

my front tyres generally last 12k before i replace them. the rears have now done 47.5k and i have noticed they are worn on the outside but not the inside??? ???

1.2 16v, 2003 3 door. Suspension on the front in Boge Turbo shocks with Koni -35mm springs although the front hasn't actually dropped. Wheels fitted are 17" allys with 215/45 tyres, with 3mm spacers. Not noticing any uneven tyre wear as yet, tyres have been fitted since February (I think) with daily use since, although I was working oversees all of May and in Edinburgh all of August.

    Good stuff folks :applause

In the interim my car is booked in to get the alignement and tracking checked and adjusted at a Ford dealer (yikes :yikes) tomorrow as my local Fiat delaer don't have the kit :-[ They're part of same company (Arnie Clark - who else?!!) as the Fiat dealer I use who are across the road - so I can curse and swear at the service managers at both dealerships at the same time if it all goes pear shaped 8)
