    Default Insurance advice

    Hello,
i got my insurance renewal the other week from direct line, ive been on my dads earning no claims since i passed my test when i was 17, i now turn 21 in couple weeks(when insurance is due) last year the policy was around 450, this year they was 550. I will of turned 21, dont seem right does it? no changes still listed as me and my dad as we both use the car. Had a look around and tesco and churchill are only ones coming in at about 460 for tesco and i think churchill was about 490-500.

But i remember (was another forum, the old stilosport one) that had a insurance thing going with chris knott i think it was? correct me if im wrong) but at the time u had to be 21 and i wasn't.

Does this forum have anything like this, or do it all dissapear.

    Many Thanks

    Benvo

tbh i dont think Chriss Knott can give best deal, but same thing happened to my workmate, and from today he's using the bus instead of his car, as he cant afford to run it anymore... atm i'm with lloyds witch was the best one around when i was looking for it, probably about £500-£600 cheaper than Churchill and all the rest... and i was with Direct Line when the car was on my mums policy and i was second driver, but when i decided to take it on myself i was quite dissapointed as i lost 2yrs of no claims cause their price was around £2k for myself and with 2yrs of no claims obviously, and lloyds offered me nearly £1k with 0yrs no claims as i've lost it by going to some other company...
