Default What is wrong in my life?

Uncle died recently, his wife is in hospital and will live only for a few weeks.

My wife left me four weeks ago and I haven't seen my 16 month old son.

Yesterday I had an car accident (my fault).

And today in the early morning hours my father was rushed to hospital and is in intensive care.

Only business is up a little.

There's so many cliche phrases that spring to mind, but I think there's only one that really says it. Life is unfair. I really feel for you Pete, and as stated already, there's got to be so many more deserving people of this shit. But no, those ass holes win the lottery, get an easy life with a free house etc.

    Thoughts are with you Pete.

    Thanks for the kind words.

One thing seems to be an irony. All the people who do this to others and will win the lottery etc. missing the most important thing in life: Real friends and affection.

Money can't buy this. Those people do not realise what pityful life they are leading, chasing a dream the do not even see clearly.

The conclusion for me is to continue to stick to the people who mean well for me. Thanks for welcoming me home.

It's so true about those people. For me it's the same thing only slightly different. I'm approaching the end of my 5th year of service with the Army. I'm still a private, even though I've ticked all the boxes and been a good boy, yet still no promotion, but the guys who continually **** up and get in trouble get the stripes for their efforts. This world is on it's head.

There's a film that akes me smile though. It's a Sean Bean and Danny Dyer film called 'Outlaw' when the down trodden get some revenge on the scumbags of the country. Very entertaining. Only it reinforces the not-to-correct opinion of mine that vigilante action is the only thing that'd sort this country out ;D

Totally agree on outlaw...from what i can remember 3 ordinary guys, Sh*t on by society and sticking to the clear road.. only to be suckered into vigilante's "can beat em join em" shame in this society "Nice guys finish last"... does ring true..

Sorry to hear this Peter... hope all works for the best... thoughts go out to you... New to the stilo fold so hopefully be able to show my face to a few meets odd times to get to know a few more guys/gals..

    Thanks for all the thoughts.

Unfortunately you are right. this world is upside down. Being a hopeless idealist I still believe that somewhere things will finally turn in favour for me. Funnily often the people how put traps out for others finally get caught in them. Ayway, the show will go on.

Sorry for my lack of involvement lately. I will work hard on it to be more active. But first I have to destroy the 2.4 tooling that Mark gives up asking for a future version. ;D
