There's no need to SHOUT, and defiantly no need for the swearing. Obviously you've had some issues. Care to expand on why you've made the above statement? What issues have you had and what parts have you tried to obtain from where and at what prices?

Stating Fiats as a whole is a big grouping and taring every Fiat with the same brush. I personally can say only the complete opposite with all mine, especially in comparison with the likes of Ford.

Does anyone know if the 1.8 punto hgt lump will fit in the stilo, could that be an answer to your issue?

£2475 from Fiat is for a new engine though so you can't really knock that price for a new one. The £800+ for the used one is taking the Michael a bit though.

Hope you manage to find one, but the 1.8 wasn't the most common of engines for the Stlo so there are not lots about :(

    Recon, hell that is steep.

As for engine change you'll need whole wiring loom from donor car, and even then the canbus system may not be compatible and will probably cause a big headache.

Reading the first post, my ears started to bleed, but thinking outside the box, I feel sorry for you mate. As the poster says, Keep Calm and Carry On.
