Default One for the poker/cards players

I'd been looking for a while for a card table for when the wife and I have friends round, and was mortified by the prices, even most of them on eBay. SO! I've made my own and it's only cost me around £40ish quid. I bought a fold out table-top poker baise from Argos (item number 2700456). Then I got a square piece of 12mm MDF from B&Q and used no more nails to attach it to the underside of the poker table. I used 4 lengths of 2x2 to make a square and screwed this in the centre of the MDF and it all sits nicely over a pine storage box we got from Ikea. The result? Rock solid playing surface, and the storage box is perfect for cards, shoes, chips etc. I'll put some pics up too when I've got some.

Really proud of myself, my attempts at carpentry, no matter how simple, usually end up a total disaster!

No, but I reckon it'd be easy enough to do so it still folds away, at least in half. I've got room in the shed for it so I'm not too fussed about it folding. Thinking of building a taller base for it so I can use it in bigger places. I've done mine at the right height for my fairly low sofa lol.
